AL Mehtab Industries, was established in 2012 as a State-of-the-art Recycling Unit in Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh, to provide recycling solutions to the Industry. Al Mehtab Industries is India’s leading and highest quality re-processor of recyclable materials. We currently operate one of India’s largest and most technically advanced Plastic Bottle Reprocessing facility. Having one of the most advanced plastics recycling factories in India providing the ability to separate and compound recycled plastic from post-consumer PET bottles sources. This makes our company a pioneer in this now very popular industry.

Over the years, plastic recycling has become more commonplace and a popular concept worldwide for many reasons. We have adapted to new markets and usages in plastics recycling in the past 4 years. Our plant in India is first to use state-of-the-art technology to sort, wash and super clean PET plastic meeting highest of the international standards.

Al Mehtab Industries (AMI) was established in 2012 to produce hot washed flakes from post-consumer PET bottles with a capacity of 1.5MT/h. AMI added one more wash-line in 2017 (2.5MT/h). AMI’s current total hot washed flakes capacity is 25,000MT/year which makes AMI the largest PET bottle-to-bottle grade flakes producer in India.

AMI installed two extruders in 2013 and 2015 to convert flakes into RPET pellets. Currently, AMI produce 1000MT of RPET pellets from in-house flakes. AMI’s pellets are being used for production of sheet, film and straps successfully. AMI’s future expansion plans include setting up a SSP to produce high IV RPET, one more wash-line each in North India and one wash-line in South India.
